Do I need a fishing license?
Yes — anyone 15 or older needs a Washington fishing license, and a Catch Record Card for salmon, steelhead and halibut. Buy online from WDFW in minutes; we’ll send the exact link and codes when you book.
What should I bring?
Layers (it’s Washington), rain shell, sunglasses, hat, lunch and a cooler for fish. We provide all rods, reels, tackle, bait, PFDs and the boat.
What happens if the river blows out?
We monitor flows and forecasts daily. If conditions are unsafe or unfishable, we reschedule you to the next open date or refund your deposit — your choice.
How many people per trip?
Two anglers per boat is comfortable; we can take up to four. Larger parties book multiple boats and fish together.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely — it’s kind of our thing. River trips recommended for ages 8+, Kids & Family Days from age 6. Life jackets always.
How does booking work?
Send the trip request form with your target fish and rough dates. We reply within 24 hours to confirm water, date and a 50% deposit to lock it in.
Do you rent gear or teach privately?
We don’t rent gear, but every training session includes loaner rods and we’ll build you a shopping list for your budget — no upselling.
What if I’ve never fished before?
Perfect. Most of our clients start exactly there. First-Cast Bootcamp or a trout lake day will have you rigged, casting and landing fish in one session.
